And where, precisely, does one go to get Rebecca's text or audio?
------------
Dear PI,
During the past few months I have moderated the discussion group After the
Workshop Ends: Difficulties Reflections and Strategies. Approximately 120 PI
subscribed to this list and over half of this group posted messages. I have
also heard from many silent participants who found reading the conversation
to be very useful and worth sharing with their colleagues. The conversation
tended to wander through several different subject domains. The conversation
addressed varied follow-up strategies, issues of school culture, ways of
involving administrators, a debate of breadth vs. depth and questions balance
between content and pedagogy. I was often wary to pull the conversation back
to its original focus since new voices seemed to enter every time the
conversation took a turn.
As a way of putting closure on this conversation we have asked Rebecca
Corwin, a professor of education at Lesley College with long
experience in professional development, to share her reflections on the
discussion. We have provided Rebecca's comments both in text and in Real
Audio. RealAudio delivers live and rebroadcast music and audio over the
Internet .The Real Audio software can be downloaded for free ; it
decompresses and plays audio instantly, without download delays. You can
obtain simple directions as to how to download Real Audio to your machine,
free of charge, at the following address:
If you would like to share your thoughts on Rebecca's reflections or on your
experiences with real audio you can post a message to the list by sending
mail to the following address:
<teech-workshop@hub.terc.edu <teech-workshop@hub.terc.edu>>.
Your message and all the previous messages to this list can be seen on the
TEECH web site at:
