I didn't realize that my request for a listing of responses would cause
such excitement. Here is some explanation of my e-mail yesterday fro
information from TERC on who is using TEECH.
Like other program officers, I read the TEECH mail each day. I have found
the discussions fascinating and have learned quite a bit about the many
strategies that project staff members use to involve, assess, and sustain
interest among their participants. Whenever the conversation has been on a
topic of particular interest to a program officer, such as physics or
assessment, I have directed the program officer's attention to the
conversation. However, at this point I want to show all ESIE program
officers just how active the PIs have been and the thoughtfulness of the
discussion that are being sustained over the Internet. Ultimately, these
tools help all of us to engage in dialogs, support and carry out better
Teacher Enhancement projects.
