Ok, I'm printing the stuff now. The web of course only includes active
participants. I'll also send him a list of current subscribers.
It sounds like a lot of participants want the list of subscribed PI's.
I could either send directions to the listserve explaining how to get that
list (by submitting a command to hub mail services) or I could post the list
to the listserv. Any thoughts on this?

I think we should do both:
(1) Send him a list
(2) Tell him how he can do it next time
We can give him a fish and show him how to catch his own next time.

I think the best way to give hime what he wants is to give him very clear
instructions on how to use the archived messages on the web. Giving him a
list
of participants is easy enough - he can do that himself by sending a command
to hub mail services. But getting subject lines can be done best from the
web. Of course, we could do this for him, mail him the results with
instructions on how to do it himseld in the future if this is more
politically correct.

Is there an easy way you can send me a list of all the participants in the
discussion possibly with the "subject" line from each of their messages?
Given an alphabetical list I could show that many PIs participated many
times in the discussions. I would like to share the list with program
officers so they can see which of their PIs participated. They will be
able to go back and read some of the discussions off the homepage.
