Suzanne and others: I was very happy to see Suzanne's message as I too
have been just making it through this semester --reading but not
responding. We are in the 4th and last year of a secondary TE project
and I spend a great deal of time in the schools. The question of scaling
up has been a difficult one for us as we have documented the amount of
support used by teachers as they switch from lecture driven to inquiry
driven classrooms. It appears that this level of support is not going to
be funded in the future so I have doubts about scaling up. We are in the
process of producing a CD with the ultimate goal of putting this
information out on WEBB pages so that teachers could access information
on the process of change as defined by our project teachers.
