TEECH "LEAVING A LEGACY: Sustaining a Project After the Funding Ends"

A question that's been on my mind: how often do you encounter teachers who
sign up for a summer workshop "for a vacation" - who have a poor attitude:
say, read a book while the teachers are attending to the discussion, don't
come to the optional evening sessions, etc.?

Is it a big enough problem that it's worth starting some system to alert
P.I.'s to the names of such people? In our 5 week workshop for high school
physics teachers last summer, we had ONE, out of 48 teachers. She wasted
our money, and so we relieved her of further responsibility....

Cheers,
Jane
