I am fairly sure there isn't any typical answer to this question. Very often
it is a flat fee and not by the hour. $20 sounds fair for AZ. I expect NY
would be a little more but it depends on lots of variables.

Hi,
A practical question: what is the typical pay for a consultant who is a
high school teacher? The Phoenix USI pays $20 per hour for high school
teachers to develop a course. Is that a standard rate, or typical, or what?
