Several weeks ago many of you participated in a dialogue "Leaving a Legacy."
During the first phase of conversation many of you posted questions
regarding sustaining teacher enhancement work. These questions served as a
basis for an interview with Bob Tinker and Beverly Hunter where they shared
their perspectives. (Beverly Hunter is currently Manager of BBN's Educational
Technology Systems and Bob Tinker is the President of the Concord
Consortium).
Their dialogue is now available from the TEECH home page
<http://hub.terc.edu/terc/teech.html>, in both real audio and text versions.
You'll find it under Leaving a Legacy: Sustaining Teacher Enhancement Work.
PLEASE read or listen to their comments and then *post* your questions,
comments, insights to the TEECH legacy list. (If you don't have access to the
web and would like a transcript of the conversation, send mail to
joni_falk@terc.edu <joni_falk@terc.edu> requesting a copy.)
We are currently experimenting with this format of presenting some in depth
conversations with leaders in the field and intermingling it with our
listserv. We are seeking to see how and if this enriches the conversation.
Please send any comments that you would like to share on this format to me
joni_falk @terc.edu. Of course, you can also post your thoughts on this to
the list.
