The TEECH project ran several interactive listserv discussions on topics of interest to and moderated by members the teacher enhancement PI community; descriptions and message archives for several of these are available below.


"After the Workshop Ends"
Results of a needs survey revealed several areas of broad interest among PI's. One significant question that was repeatedly voiced was to sustain involvement, and facilitate implementation after the workshop ends? This discussion group provided a forum for PI's to explore this issue with each other.
"Electronic Discussion Forums in Professional Development"
The topic of this discussion group was electronic discussion forums in professional development. Increasingly teacher enhancement PI's are augmenting and extending summer workshop experiences with online forums for their teachers. TEECH hosted a meeting of 25 of the pioneers in the field to solicit their advice and hear their current questions. Issues about nurturing, moderating, sustaining and scaling up electronic communities were raised.
"General Discussion"
The General Discussion was an unmoderated list intended for messages having a wide interest for the larger community.
"Leadership Discussion Group"
This discussion group, moderated by Susan Loucks-Horsley was about leadership development. Susan Loucks-Horsley began the list by asking "what are the skills, knowledge, and attitutes or inclinations we want to help develop?"
"Leaving a Legacy"
The topic of this discussion group was "Leaving a Legacy: Sustaining a Project after the Funding Ends." This interactive discussion group included panel discussions in addition to the mailing list.
"Local Systemic Change Interest Group"
The topic of this discussion group was local systemic change.
